After over 100 years of netball at Christchurch’s Hagley Park Courts, the Christchurch Netball Centre will become the new home for Christchurch Netball. The 10,050m2 facility located at Ngā Puna Wai will be used as a multisport arena. The purpose-built facility accommodates for netball, volleyball, futsal, korfball, and gymnastics whilst fostering sports diversity and community activity. The $15m centre has exceeded all client expectations. After initially thinking only 8 courts were going to be possible within their budget Apollo delivered 10 courts under the same budget through the design and build delivery process.
TDM was engaged by Apollo on a design / build capacity encompassing :
- New transformer and power reticulation
- Electrical and data design / build.
- Electrical for Mechanical with Active Refrigeration
- Security
- Exterior and carpark lighting
